Zero Tolerance

ZERO TOLERANCE

We operate a strict zero tolerance policy towards any violent, abusive, threatening behaviour towards our staff, whether that be verbal or physical.

Our staff work incredibly hard day in day out to provide the best possible care to our patient population but sadly the abuse they receive is increasing and it is not acceptable.

All staff have the right to work in an environment free form abusive, threatening behaviour. If you do not respect the rights of our staff you will be removed from our practice.

CAMPAIGN TO RAISE AWARENESS AND STOP THE ABUSE

In a recent survey 78% of reception staff reported having received threatening behaviour.

"If I die, it will be your fault" is just one of the many abusive comments hear by GP reception staff.

New campaign video calls for end to abuse from patients: Campaign Video
