Paperless NHS


As part of the NHS initiative to ‘go paperless’ we have recently reviewed our internal and external processes for the management of correspondence, both between patients and between staff/ external organisations.

From 1st August 2024 we will be sending all invites for chronic disease management and other annual review invites via text message or email.

Shorter messages will be sent by text message only, whilst longer correspondence will be sent via email with a text message to advise the email has been sent.

We have already started to send our referral information electronically.

If you have an accessible need for information to be sent you in another format, please contact the Reception Team who will pass your query onto our Administration Department who will contact you for further information.
